Serenity On The San Gabriel

The house was very clean, smelled nice, and looked exactly like the pictures. All the rooms were well appointed and we had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation. The extra living room was an added bonus as it gave us plenty of room to spread out. There are so many thoughtful "extras" in this house such as the guitars, the children's table, lots of books on the shelves, plenty of fluffy white towels in the bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and the ping pong table in the air-conditioned game room. The fenced in area for the dogs is a rare find as well. There is a walking trail that starts one house over that is great when you need to get out and stretch your legs. I would definitely book again.

The property itself was fantastic! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend the home.The only negative experience was that we received a message stating there had been a complaint about loud music and a party at the house. The problem was that we weren't even at the property at the time, and we had never played music there. When we returned, the neighbors at 108 were hosting a large birthday party, and it was clear the noise was coming from that gathering.I completely understand that neighbors may report noise and property managers have to follow up, but I wish we had been asked about the situation before it was assumed the complaint involved us. My only concern is that a mistaken accusation could negatively affect a guest's rental history.Other than that, we had a wonderful stay and really enjoyed the property.

Beautiful home in a beautiful area Positive: This property is beautiful and so well appointed. Love the style and decor, worked great for a various age family members. The deer and view were just right. Kitchen had everything we needed, the room off the kitchen is magazine worthy with it's views. Large deck, great for families. Negative: A/C was challenging to work, the room we slept in stayed hot while other parts of the home were too cold. Nothing an A/C guy couldn't fix with a little duct work. The river is not easily accessible, that part of the property was not mowed and there was no place along the bank to sit and enjoy the river. There is a large sunken room that has no handrail, this area runs across foyer and kitchen and you enter into this room from driveway. It is not an issue for most but was a challenge for my elderly mother-in-law to navigate - something anyone with mobility issues needs to be aware of.

We loved the house.

This was our third stay here. It is perfect for our annual family visit. It is spacious and comfortable, well equipped. Outdoor space is quiet and peaceful. We will be back!
