Lakeside Haven Review: A Bittersweet Getaway We recently stayed at a beautiful lake house that had all the charm we hoped for—cozy interiors, peaceful surroundings, and a relaxing vibe perfect for a weekend escape. **However,**, we were disappointed to find out the lake was **closed due to flooding**, which really defeated the purpose of booking a lakeside cabin. Unfortunately, no swimming, kayaking, or lakeside lounging for us. We had to scrap our original plans and put together a brand new itinerary on the fly. Upon entering the rental a dirty floor was visible with debris on it. The toilet seat had what looked like urine and fecal stains under it. The king side bed had a visible yellow stain on the white comforter. If you or any of your guests staying here have pet allergies I suggest staying away from this rental. It does indicate no pets on there policy but they clearly have no way of ensuring that is followed. My wife had a strong allergic reaction once lying on the king size bed, shes allergic to dogs.

The condo unit on Lake Travis was great! The layout (2 bedroom, 2 bath) was good and the unit was clean and well stocked. With the storm that rolled through this area the underground parking was much appreciated! The elevator and carts made it easy to transport stuff to the unit. It has a nice balcony but no lake views. The grounds are well maintained and made for terrific walks around the complex! Lots of deer to admire! We would stay here again!

The place was nice, however the walls are paper thin. If staying in the front bedroom, you will hear the elevator and every conversation people are having in the courtyard. I am a light sleeper and was woke up a couple times by people talking. If you are a light sleeper and sleeping in the front room, I suggest noise cancelling headphones
