A Historical Beach Town Decked in Holiday Cheer...

If you are looking for a way to fully immerse yourself in all things Christmas, then Galveston, Texas has you covered!! This island town truly comes to life around Christmas time with streets lined in light covered historical houses, Ice Land at Moody Gardens with an indoor Ice Slide, bar and more, many holiday festivals and Christmas On The Strand- the main street in the historical district of Galveston, which buildings date back to the 1800’s, and they all get decked out in festive Christmas decor! You will feel like you have walked into a Lifetime movie!

Christmas time in Galveston also means less crowded beaches and cooler weather, which I personally love since it creates the perfect sense of peace while walking barefoot in the sand or even admiring the view from one of our warm and cozy vacation rentals. Winter time at the beach is so relaxing!! My family always tries to make a trip down to Galveston to get the ultimate Christmas experience and to relax our minds during the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Whether you are taking kiddos, going for a couples getaway or a girls/ guy trip, Galveston has something to offer for everyone! Take a look at some of our recommendations below!
